Welcome to Windy Ridge Gun Dogs' website! We strive to produce healthy, intelligent, athletic gun dogs that retain the Braque Francais Pyrenees Breed Standard of the CKC.

We are a family that loves this breed of dog. Not because they are wonderful companions and family members. And not because they have excellent hunting instincts, extreme prey drive and are easy to train. But because all of those characteristics are wrapped up into one medium sized dog.

At Windy Ridge we are devoted to the Braque Francais breed and perpetuating their storied history as premiere gun dogs and family members. We are avid bird hunters and will only breed dogs that are proven to be exceptional hunters with great temperaments and hilarious, loving personalities. In our opinion, there is no other breed that has the qualities that we seek in a dog.
